WR: Tee Higgins - CIN

The hate for Tee Higgins is absolutely real now. No, I'm not sitting here and saying he should be some top 12 fantasy wide receiver, but should he be outside the top 25? Probably not. Joe Burrow is back and healthy. Higgins himself is healthy; don't forget he dealt with rib and hamstring injuries in 2023. Also, Tyler Boyd is now gone—he's in Tennessee. That frees up 98 targets in this offense.

And they just franchise tagged Tee Higgins, and they're paying him almost 22 million dollars this season alone. Now, sure, Cincinnati went out and drafted Jermaine Burton out of Alabama, so the writing is probably on the wall that this is going to be the last year of Tee Higgins in Cincinnati. Do you really think they're going to pay him all that money and then just not use him?

If anything, the hate for Tee Higgins could be related to the fact that maybe you don't think he stays healthy. But he's only 25 years old, and he's out there playing for a massive contract. Now, on average, the wide receiver 26 scores right around 163 fantasy points. Do you really think the ceiling of Tee Higgins isn't higher than 70 catches for 1,000 yards and six touchdowns? Because that's all he would need to return draft value, and those are numbers he's hit in the past both in 2021 and 2022.

I'm buying the discount in a contract year with a healthy Joe Burrow returning and more targets available in this offense.
