2025 Fantasy Outlook
1. Usage & Volume
He totaled 152 targets in 2024 (~10.1 targets/game). Despite a drop from peak (~181 targets in 2023), he's still QB Dak Prescott’s top-downfield option and the addition of George Pickens adds volume intrigue, not displacement.
2. Efficiency & Role
Y/R was down to 11.8, but YAC (537 yards) remained strong, averaging 14 yards after catch per game. His big-play capacity remains intact; earlier-game dominance supports high floor in PPR.
3. Health & Usage Pattern
Played through a shoulder injury mid-season; shut down Weeks 17–18. Offseason recovery has been complete with no surgery required. He's expected to be healthy in 2025.
4. Game-flow Dependence
Target volume was front-loaded; second-half production lagged (only 30 receptions post-halftime). If Cowboys trend toward balanced play clocks, his half-game dips may persist.
5. Supporting Cast & Competition
New complement George Pickens is expected to draw coverage, potentially freeing Lamb for cleaner looks. Dallas' overall offense aims to be more vertical with new coaching staff.
Headliner Take
CeeDee Lamb returns in 2025 as a proven WR1 with one of the safest fantasy floors in the league: he’s posted four straight 1,100+ yard seasons and never dipped below ~8.9 targets per game (489 targets in the last 3 years). His 79.6 receiving yards per game and 24% target share in 2024 ranked him top‑15 among WRs. With Dak Prescott healthy, a full offseason of rehab, a healthy shoulder, and the addition of George Pickens which should free up easier coverage, Lamb is well-positioned to reclaim elite PPR value anchoring Dallas' passing game volume while retaining high YAC and efficiency metrics. Another lock to be a Top 12 WR.
