WR: CeeDee Lamb - DAL

Last year's overall wide receiver one. He had 181 targets, 135 receptions, 1,862 total yards, and 14 touchdowns. Damn. But here is what I find a little bit crazy: he didn't even average over seven targets a game until week eight. After week eight, he averaged 13 targets per game. His season could have been even bigger.

But now, how do you look at the Cowboys roster and think it's really going to be any different in 2024? If anything, it could be a little bit better. What if he starts off with that heavy volume early? We already know that Michael Gallup, he's gone. But there is no way that we can look at CeeDee Lamb and just come into the season and say, hey, we expect exactly the same. That is a huge number to repeat.

But CeeDee Lamb finished 64.3 fantasy points ahead of the overall wide receiver three just last season. That's a difference of 400 yards and four touchdowns. If you take that away from what he had last season, it still would give him a season right around 1,400 yards and 10 touchdowns—more than doable for sure. So I look at it like this: the number one overall wide receiver right now is CeeDee Lamb, and he has a clear path to being maybe at least the wide receiver three. In my opinion, that makes CeeDee Lamb a damn safe pick in 2024.
