Headliner Take
Pat Freiermuth enters the 2025 season as a low-end TE2 with weekly TD-dependent upside. His 2024 numbers (65/653/7) were buoyed by a high catch rate (83%) and strong red-zone involvement (23% share), but the offensive outlook is less promising this year. With Arthur Smith still calling plays and Aaron Rodgers now under center—a QB not known for feeding tight ends—the volume may be too inconsistent to rely on. Add in the arrival of DK Metcalf and the return of Roman Wilson, and Freiermuth could get squeezed out of reliable usage. He’s a fringe starter at best and more of a matchup-based streamer in 2025.
