I'm going to be honest when it comes to Lamar Jackson I love him as a player I just don't like how Baltimore will never give him multiple high-end weapons. Mark Andrews has struggled to stay on the field for a couple of years now and as Lamar enters 2024 he really only has second-year wide receiver, Zay Flowers, which I don't mind. We also have Rashod Bateman who's been a huge disappointment and Nelson Agholor. Sure, they went out and drafted rookie wide receiver Devontez Walker in the fourth round but he isn't some immediate game-changer so this tells me once again we're going to have to rely on his running production and that's where it gets a little bit interesting.
He slimmed down this off-season to be more agile but he had originally bulked up because he was taking so many big hits from running the football his body couldn't handle it then Baltimore went out and brought in Derrick Henry for the running back position in free agency so once again he has limited pass-catching weapons he has a smaller frame now that may not handle the punishment their offensive line overall is worse and now they've added one of the best running backs in the league to this backfield now I don't want to sit here and say that Lamar Jackson is going to have a bad year I see him more top eight at the position and not so much top four.
