WR: DJ Moore - CHI

DJ Moore is another player coming off a career year where he had 96 catches, over 1,300 yards, and nine touchdowns—a career high in each category. He did it with Justin Fields; he did it without Justin Fields. But he also did it because he was really one of the only shows in town.

But man, has that changed for 2024. Keenan Allen is in the mix, Rome Odunze was just drafted, they brought in D'Andre Swift, and they have a new franchise quarterback in Caleb Williams. They're all in town now, and they all want volume. The problem is, we don't know who Caleb Williams is going to lock on to. Plus, this defense isn't half bad in Chicago, and if they can keep games closer, maybe they don't have to throw the ball a ton to really try and supply three wide receivers.

Can Caleb Williams even supply three wide receivers is another question. There is just so much confusion when you look at the overall offense for the Chicago Bears. But I will tell you this with certainty: all of these guys are going to have big weeks. The problem is, you're not going to know which guy is going to go off each week. They're all going to be boom or bust.

Now, Moore is going to also be the most expensive of the group. While I will say that I believe DJ Moore has the safest floor and highest ceiling of this trio in Chicago, you need to know this: if you draft DJ Moore, you could be in line for an up-and-down season when it comes to his production. With where you have to draft him, you're probably going to be stuck starting him, at least to start the season. And if he's boom or bust to start the season, it could put you in the hole quickly.
