RB: Raheem Mostert - MIA

Who could have possibly seen Raheem Mostert coming last season? That's right, I did! One of my biggest sleeper candidates last season that I kept pounding the drum for at his ADP. I mean, I'll admit, he had an even bigger season than I expected, finishing as the RB2 overall last year. He only finished outside the top 24 running backs twice all of last season. Raheem Mostert was a perfect combination of volume and efficiency in that Miami Dolphins offense.

So why are people not excited about him in 2024? Well, one of the biggest reasons is potential injury. Over the course of his nine-year career, he's only played in 16 games three times, and this is the first time that he's had back-to-back seasons where he's played in double-digit games. Naturally, most people are worried that the injury bug will just end up catching up to him this year, given the fact that he's now 32 years old. And of course, the other reason is De'Von Achane, who we've talked about over in his player profile.

So when you're looking at drafting Raheem Mostert, you're really just looking at the ADP once again. If you can draft Raheem Mostert as your RB2, I'm not that worried about it. That's okay. Probably not going to rely on him as my RB1, but the fact that De'Von Achane is being drafted so much higher than Raheem Mostert at this point is pretty ridiculous. If you're looking for a better return on value, absolutely consider Mostert at his ADP.
