QB: Baker Mayfield - TB

What a turnaround for the Bake Show. He went to Tampa Bay as the Tom Brady successor, and Baker put up better numbers last season than Brady did in 2022. He had 4,000 yards passing, 28 touchdowns to only 10 interceptions, and finished as the quarterback 10 overall in fantasy football. It was a career-high in completions, completion percentage, passing yards, and passing touchdowns.

Now he is going to have a new offensive coordinator this year. Dave Canales is gone; he's now the head coach of the Carolina Panthers. But things are looking like they're not going to be much different this year in Tampa Bay than they were last year. They want Chris Godwin in the slot, which is absolutely perfect. We know that Baker loves himself some Mike Evans down the field. He'll be back again this year, but we also have some capable wide receivers to play on the outside of Mike Evans now as well. Guys like Trey Palmer, who we saw flashes of last year, and newly drafted wide receiver Jalen McMillan, who is already catching the eye of Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay offense. The dude is super smooth and has an opportunity to gain a lot of snaps here this year. If that's the case, that's only going to help out Baker Mayfield.

But let's also not forget that we have an above-average pass-catching running back in the backfield in Rachaad White, who was utilized in the passing game a lot last season. Even with a slight regression here in 2024, we're still going to have a top 12 finish in play for Baker Mayfield. Now, if you want to punt the quarterback position altogether and just grab a couple of guys late, Baker Mayfield is a great option.
