DRBR: Baltimore Ravens

If anybody out there thinks that Derrick Henry has lost a step, I need you to respect the king a little bit more because the DRB tells us that's not even close to being the case. Now, his overall DRB score is a little bit down, and that's just because the volume that he used to see in the past just wasn't quite the same this past season. And that's all right; a little bit less volume isn't all that bad for a running back that has been in the league for quite a few years.

But on a new team like the Baltimore Ravens, even a little bit less volume is absolutely fine because the efficiency we see that he was good at last season could be even better this year. His dynamic category scores were very close to the likes of Christian McCaffrey, Kyren Williams, and Breece Hall. Even if these efficiency numbers stay really close to what we see right now, the touchdowns could still go way up from what he had last season. That right there is going to increase his DRB score heading into 2025. He's set up in a perfect spot right now.

The one guy we'll have to continue to keep an eye on will be Keaton Mitchell. He's injured right now, and we really don't know when he's going to be returning to game action or when he's going to feel a whole lot better. In fact, if there was no Derrick Henry and Keaton Mitchell was 100% this season, Keaton Mitchell would be one of my top breakout candidates based on his dynamic scores alone.

So we'll keep an eye out for that. Returning from that injury absolutely could bring those scores down a little bit, and we may have to wait until 2025 before we get a full look at what Keaton Mitchell can do in a backup or complimentary role to Derrick Henry.
