Breakouts: Quinshon Judkins - CLE

That's right. I see Quinshon Judkins being a breakout right away in 2025. Nick Chubb is gone — he's in Houston — and we've seen Jerome Ford before. But if they wanted Ford to be the workhorse running back here, they wouldn't have spent an early second-round pick on another running back.
Now, don't get me wrong — I don't hate Jerome Ford — but let's be honest: Quinshon Judkins is way, way better. Over his three years in college, he racked up 4,227 total yards and 50 touchdowns. Across his 42-game college career at Ole Miss and Ohio State, Judkins never missed a single game, showcasing his durability.
Judkins also hit a recorded speed of 22 mph during a game against Kentucky in 2024. He ripped off 17 runs of at least 15 yards in his final college season alone. Browns GM Andrew Berry praised his ability to “run through you, run by you, or run around you.” Someone who is 6' tall and 220 lbs shouldn’t be that fast. He draws a lot of comparisons to Joe Mixon.
Add in the fact that he has an opportunity for 225+ touches and you can get him in the sixth to seventh round — it's an absolute no-brainer. The RB30 last year, which is basically where Judkins is going this year, was Kareem Hunt. He only played in 13 games and scored single digits in six of them.
Judkins only needs to be around 20 receptions, 1,000 total yards, and five touchdowns to finish as the RB30. To me, that's his floor. If we see even less Jerome Ford, Judkins has the potential to be a top-15 running back this season.
But the beauty is in the fact that he could be your RB3 on your fantasy roster. You don’t have to draft him and rely on him in Week 1. If he starts off hot, you’ll have crazy good depth at the running back position or a massive trade piece if you need it. A potential starting running back on a run-heavy team that's sitting right around RB30 just screams breakout value.
Don’t forget that head coach Kevin Stefanski and the Browns have been top 10 in the NFL in rush attempts four of the last five seasons. And with the potential of them going with a younger quarterback this year, the running back room could be leaned on even more heavily.
Judkins is just primed for an immediate breakout here in 2025.
